10 Accessing NFS Storage 

 

TASK-1 Configure Access to NFS Datastore.

 

Right click the Datacenter1 select storage, then  select new datastore.

 

 

 

 

Keep the Default Settings 

Click Next

 

 

 

 

In this window select NFS

Click Next

In thi window slect the NFS version as  NFS3

 

 

 

 

 

Give the Data Store Name

Name = NFS Share

 

Sever = your Host  IP

Click Next

 Select your Both Host 

 Click Next

 

 

This page will give you the summary 

 

Click Finish

 

 

 

 After creating the NFS store you will be able to view the NFS Data store in the Inventory

 

 

 TASK-2 View NFS Storage Information.

 

 

 

 From the Right side menu tabs select Summary tab to view the Summary of the store

 

 

 

The Datastore Type : NFS 3

The Capacity of the Datastore : 39.51 GB

The free Space of Datastore : 25.09 GB

The used space of Datstore : 14.42 GB

In this lab we will be creating and accessing the NFS data store and here I have shared it and mount it for used. In tis la I have create a I have mounted the data store that I have created and connect it using the IP network.
